There are two kinds of “thank you”:
- One is the “thank you” we say for something tangible that we received, a gift, a favor, etc. The thank you is heartfelt, but it’s about our narrative and no one else’s.
- Then there’s the “thank you” of caring. Of consideration. It’s the thank you that recognizes the other, their effort, their kindness and their sacrifice. The thank you of showing up. This thank you has nothing at all to do with what we asked for and everything to do with the power of connection and caring.
Thanksgiving can be a time for the second kind of “thank you.” Take some time this year to say “thank you” to those who have been “there for you.” In addition to family, this includes friends, co-workers and clients, as well.
We want to thank YOU for your comments, support and friendships.
Who will you be thanking?
HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM D’ALESSANDRO, INC.
