Why are you doing a feasibility study?

Not every campaign needs to lead with a feasibility study, not every study will give you the information you want and not every study has to be done by an outside consultant. In dealing with nonprofits one size doesn’t fit all. What you want to be sure of is that your plans are sound, that your constituent base and the community will support it and that your priorities will get the funding you need. This can be done internally or with help from a consultant. It can be done during the campaign prep phase (without calling it a study) or with a separate study. Oftentimes predictions of goals are conservative at best. What we often tell our clients is that “you are either in a campaign or planning for one,” and sometimes planning can take years which works for many organizations.

You have a lot of options on the path to a successful fundraising initiative.

“Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning and focused effort.” – Paul J. Meyer
